The Forest Opening

On Friday it was the forest opening and we sang quite a lot of songs then some people did some speeches. After the forest opening some people went in to the forest and some kids were dressed
up as birds. Siena was a tui and Jaime was a fantail. Some special people came to our school. 
Some people went to have a look at the forest and the fantastic birds. After that it was time for everyone to go home. The end.

My New Shoes By Jayden

On Sunday my mum brought  me some new shoes, while I was with dad for the week. My new shoes  are soft  and green. They have velcro straps on them.

My old shoes are falling apart. The bottom is coming off!!

My New Mouse By Siena

On the weekend me and my mum went to the grey Lynn pet shop to get an amazing cage then we went to Animates to get my mouse. Her name is Snowy. When we got home we made up the cage and put her in it. We gave her some food and water.  I feed her seeds. She is white and  has a little brown mark on her left leg. She is only three months old. She is is very, very, very soft.

The Naughty Dog

Last weekend we took our dog Doogle for a walk in Grey Lynn Park. While we were there we saw another dog. He was big and white and very friendly. I ran over to play with him. He was called Percy. He was an Australian bulldog. I was running with  Percy. Then I found a stick and I picked it up and I teased him with it and SUDDENLY  he jumped up at my jaw and knocked a front tooth out!!  Luckily it was a loose tooth. It bled  a lot! Then we went home. I put the tooth under my pillow so the tooth fairy can buy it off me for a million dollars!!!! Well I wish.......

My Mum Is In Canada! By Rosie

My mum is in Canada because she has gone to see her sister. They have gone up the mountain called Kicking Horse. The day she knew about it, she said "I have to get fit." They are staying in a town called  Golden Town. They were going to go to London together. They didn't go to London because they wanted to go somewhere else, which was Canada. Mum is going to bring Oscar and me a present. My present is going to be some ice-skates and my brother is getting new shoes. She will be back in seven more sleeps. I really miss her!



                                

My Mum's Birthday By Imogen.

On the Weekend it was my Mum's birthday. My dad made mum a cake. The cake was lemon flavoured. It was a gluten free cake. Later on one of mum's good friends came over. She was called Shelly. Shelly has three kids called Jackson, Van and baby Dylan. A little while before they came me and dad went down the road to get some macaroon biscuits. They were very yummy! Me, Ben, Jackson and Van collected acorns from the corner of the yard because in the corner of the next door yard they have a huge oak tree. Finally the end of the day came.

On Friday it was the school forest opening. We did some singing. Some special  people came to the  opening.  All the classes sat by the pool on the grass. It got very hot. Mr Barker talked for a long time. We blessed the trees so they will grow tall and strong. After the opening some people walked through the forest to have a look. Then everybody went home.
