Nevan, Torin and the Husky

One day a lady called Claire came to our house to visit. She brought her husky dog. It's name was Kiasa. He looked like a wolf and was so fluffy and soft. 

Me and my brother liked playing with Kiasa, so we took him for a walk around the block. We went to a school near our house. At the school I threw a stick and Kiasa ran. Torin slipped and fell on the ground and Kiasa was dragging him along. Next it was Torin's turn to throw the stick  and Kiasa ran so super fast that I fell over! He threw the stick again. Kiasa ran but not until I ran. 

We had lots of fun with Kiasa for 3 hours. Then Claire took him home.

Gardening Club by Milan

Today I went to gardening club. First we walked down to the church gardens with Sussane. Rata came too. 

We weeded some of the garden. weeds are bad for the garden.  We scraped the weeds out of the dirt and left them to die. 

We had to carry some long and skinny poles and some big and fat sticks and put them in another area.

We had to smash up some big clumps of plant food in a bucket and put it around the plants in the garden.

Rata and I went to see a hole that we thought was interesting. There was a tank leaking water and making a big puddle and Rata tasted it!!! Yuck!

We planted some mustard seeds in the garden.

 We got to take some vegetables home. I got a carrot and some small green things that I don't know.

Lucky, Lucky Us!!

Today JP from SKIDS after school care, gave us TWO balls!!They were skids soccer balls. Room 15 had just come in from morning tea when we found out. I was silently reading like  the other kids, except  the  ones who were finishing worksheets. Well while we were doing that our teacher Gail came in carrying the balls. ''Look'', she said. "Look what the lovely JP gave us". Gail was so pleased she asked us to write thank you cards to JP. We tried very hard on the cards, well at least I did. All the cards were very colourful. I think JP will love them!

My 2012 Crystals by Nevan

About one or two years ago my mum gave me some gems.  I never knew that one of my gems was an Emerald. Last night my mum gave me some stones that you can turn into gems, like diamonds, blue stone, gold, obsidian and ruby I think.  I feel  so excited  and lucky!

My Trophy by Jack

My trophy is a very cool trophy. I got it from soccer. It is made of rubbery plastic. I've got another one at home. The one that I brought to school is broken. This is how it broke. My mum dropped it on the road!  The other trophy is silver.
I have soccer photos on Saturday. Last Sunday I had soccer trials but I didn't get in the same team as Eli.

Geronimo Stilton's The Amazing Voyage. Book Review by Emerson

I like "The Amazing Voyage" by Geronimo Stilton because there are scary things, love, yummy stuff like pizza, weird things, ugly stuff and a lot of other things! Did you ever read the book? It is really cool! And that is why you should read it. Did you know it has a lot of lands like the land of Nightmares!!! Done!Done!! Done!!! There is a ship that comes from the Land the Fairies. The wood is made from the Talking Forest so the ship can talk. Her name is Horizon. She gave Geronimo some armor and a ring of light that can make a sword of light. At the end there are three weddings.
